Job Title:Commercial Bank Administration & Optimization Senior AnalystLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:The Commercial Bank Administration Sr. Analyst is a key role within the Administration & Optimization Support Group for the Commercial Bank. This individual is responsible for providing comprehensive support across multiple functions, including client onboarding questions, compliance monitoring, Process and Procedures, KPI, KRI and RCSA maintenance, business requirement, and data analysis. This position requires an individual with a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact with senior leadership in the Commercial Bank as well as Support/Shared Services teams and their leadershipWhat we are looking for:

  • Understand the Client Onboarding and Deal Flow processes end to end. Be able to help internal team members with questions and resolution of onboarding challenges helping to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.
  • Participate in cross functional efforts with senior sales teams, operations and product managers to improve end to end processes and optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding and deal process flows and assist with implementing best practices
  • Assist with compliance monitoring efforts, ensuring that all operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Help buildout KPIs, KRI's and RCSAs for the Commercial Bank. Once new metrics/controls are stood up, perform appropriate and timely analysis of item identifying potential outliers to management.
  • Assist with gathering information and documentation to support audits and risk assessments.
  • Ensure Policies and Procedures are kept up to date based on leadership directed changes using the appropriate Enterprise tools/platforms.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the preparation of analytical reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update standard reports based on business changes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and other key metrics.
  • Ensure that reports are visually compelling, easy to understand, and tailored to the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Regularly update and distribute reports to senior management, providing insights on operational performance and potential areas for improvement.
  • Help identify areas for improvement and optimization across all sales and deal flow functions, work with cross-functional teams to implement changes requested by leadership.
  • Automate data collection and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the group's productivity and efficiencies.
  • Document business requirements to be reviewed by leadership and shared with other project team membersQualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
    • MBA is a plus.:
    • 2+ years of experience in commercial banking/credit operations, financial services, or a related industry.
    • Demonstrated experience in process and procedure documentation, compliance, and data analysis.
    • Proven track record of leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and other productivity enhancement tools .
    • Experience with banking software, CRM systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI).
    • Quick learner/adopter of emerging technologies and tools
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, clients, and cross-functional teams.
    • Provide training and support to team members on data tools, dashboards, and standard reports.
    • Help maintain relevant data on the Commercial Bank's internal SharePoint site.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
