• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Candidates must demonstrate competency in required skills and certifications

  • LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
  • SIMs lab is pass/fail - maintaining sterile field is crucial
  • Additional training in lifts, restraints, & wound care
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years ICU experience required
    • Experience in 600+ bed teaching facility
    • RNs required to read and interpret their own strips
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts 7-7
      • 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
      • Work in core staff rotation for holidays
      • 2 shifts on the floor for unit/department specific orientation
        • Unit Specific Information
        • MICU, SICU, and TICU areas each with 40 beds, total area has 120 beds
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:1-2
        • Charge Nurse does not take patients
        • Common patient types include Sepsis, GI Bleed, DKA, Trauma, etc.
        • ICU Travelers required to float amongst all ICU and MedSurg/Tele units
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy

          • Candidates must pass the Basic Dysrhythmia Exam prior to sending the contract
