  • A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Cath Lab RNs for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience and hold an active ACLS, BLS and AZ license or compact.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN
    • Active ACLS certification
    • Active BLS certification
    • An AZ license or compact
      • Schedule Information
      • 3, 12 hour shifts from 6 am to 6:30 pm plus call
      • Call - varied 6 to 10 shifts per schedule (30 minute response time required)
      • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts, typically 6 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday
      • Call: 8-12 days a month depending on the month
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # beds in unit: 3 main, 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (vascular & cardiac cases)
        • Cases: 10-25 cases per day. Circulating, no Scrub
        • EMR used: Cerner and Xper
        • Charge Nurse present
        • Nurse Aides: Rad techs - Circulating and Scrub, BLS, Certified. Cover Endo and CVOR
        • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on job
          • Additional Details
          • LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE preferred; will screen busy LEVEL II
          • 30 minute response time required
          • Unit: Cath Lab
          • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement
